Releases

A little Christmas present for everyone as we bring you the last TOSEC release of the decade. Many of our members (not naming any names) are getting a bit long in the tooth now so treasure this update as who knows if any of them will still be around to bring you piles of retro goodness by 2030! But now, just in time for 2020, we have been able to exceed another milestone: more than 3000 dats available, so enjoy those now and we will see what the future brings!

In all seriousness, we have a small and dedicated team but doing this is very much a hobby and doesn't pay the bills, so we all have to fit it in around our real lives and careers. We all know there's plenty left to do and systems that we just don't have the time or expertise to work on, but we're always open to new contributions. We have a forum here and most of us are active elsewhere in the emulation community, so if you'd like to have a chat about how you can contribute to the project just get in touch.

It is September 9th, 2019, today one of the best home consoles ever created turns 20! (Maddog will actually tell you its' the best console by far, but rumor is that he is slightly biased in his opinion...). So, after celebrating Gorski's birthday in the previous release, we now celebrate the Dreamcast's birthday! By the way, we know that it was released earlier in Japan, but we simply had to go with the iconic 9/9/99 US release date. Nobody can remember the Japanese release without looking it up in Wikipedia, right?

Been a while, but we are back with a shiny new release!

Enjoy, this took many hours of hard work to get out of the door.

It's May 10 and Gorski has a birthday!

The previous April Fools "release" did not contain any new dats BUT it contained some truths. The main revelation was that we would make a release for Gorski's birthday, so here it is. The entire team wishes Gorski a happy birthday!!!
Cheers buddy! :)

For anyone asking about his age, we will just mention that the man's favorite system is the Sinclair ZX Spectrum from 1982. Make your own assumptions based on this. We classify him somewhere between Jurassic and Triassic eras, but nobody is totally sure to be honest.

We are back with a new release! We missed Xmas by two days so I guess we should call it a Xmas/NYE release instead :-)

Hope you guys enjoy it, meanwhile work for our next release has already started.
