Just added another folder (64'er) of potential VIC goodies; btw, Vicman. I am encountering a weird problem with WinVICE; sometimes, after I TOSEC-rename the files, it won't load in the emulator. Has this happened to you as well? If so, is there anyway around this problem (one example: try the Tacco.prg game). Thanks.

I think you've got them from the Denial-Forum German Magazine - Type-Ins - 64er ?
'cause i allready DL them, but haven't the time yet for adding to TOSEC....
Nevertheless, Thank You !

Well, i have no problem to start the "TOSEC-Game" Tacco (1984-09)(Happy Computer)(de)[type-in].prg

I only have trouble with Gamenames that contains a , [meaning a comma].
For Example  :
- Trivia Hangman (1985-03-06)(Galluchon, Mike)[16k].prg
- Tomb of Drewan, The (1982)(Audiogenic)[16k].prg

in this cases you get a "file not found" error.

Whats the "Filename" of your "Tacco.prg" ?

Solution for the "comma" problem :
use the frontend ecc to run the games (it use the "short filenames" by "enable 8.3 filename" in the config)
should also work with FE Gamebase.

(1) Yes I did get them from Denial ;)
(2) Thanks for the naming advice/findings: I'll take that into consideration.

Hi Guys,
still here ... and still working on vic20 dats.

one thing i'm really angry about, is the ", " in filenames !!!!
example : Wurmi (1987)(Hunold, Peter)[16k][multipart]

those files don't run in WinVice. Only because of this stupid " , "  :-\
why not using : Wurmi (1987)(Peter Hunold)[16k][multipart]

maybe it is possible to change the TNC, to make it possible using both solutions "peter hunold" or "hunold, peter"  0:)
