DMS format is simple and complex at the time. These files are created with different version of DMS more or less buggy, they are sometimes hacked, encrypted or damaged in different media (disk, CD or transfer error). This is what makes the challenge interesting !

For ADF Database, it's to calculate statistics of similarity with TOSEC files (or other ADF collection).
Code: [Select]
File selected         : Pixel Nation (1991-07-25)(Defjam).adf
File size             : 901.120 bytes
CRC32                 : $816C2850
File loaded as an ADF : Amiga OFS

Top 5 best matching :
1)  98.4% Defjam Megademo (19xx)(Defjam)
2)  98.4% Defjam Megademo (19xx)(Defjam)[o]
3)  98.4% Pixel Nation (1991)(Defjam)
4)  93.5% Pixel Nation (1991)(Defjam)[a]
5)  14.5% Bobtails (19xx)(Coast)

=> Defjam Megademo (19xx)(Defjam) = Pixel Nation (1991)(Defjam)
Interesting, no? ^^

Thank you, too. I have a problem of TNC with "TOSEC Dat Explorer 20120915" and my dat "Commodore Amiga - Applications - [ADF] (TOSEC-v2012-12-20_CM)"
If you could check that I understand where the problem is.
"Siegfried Antivirus Professional v1.0 (1994-04-31)(Siegfried Soft)(DE)(en-de)[h S8]"
An idea?

Extra question:
You have a date for the next official release?

It's the date.... there's aren't 31 days in April 1994   ;)

RE Next Release, you have perfect timing:
release: Sun 30th Dec (or Fri 28th/Sat 29th depending on PandMonium/Cassiel free time)
cut of: Mon 24nd Dec

Sorry for not posting over at EAB like normal, but was a bit of a rush job since I have so little free time atm   :(

Release every 2 months though remains the aim (and happy to say we keep hitting that!)

In an internal library of software, we can read:
siegfried.library 4.05 (01 May 1994)
It's better ;-)

Fixed and uploaded!

I think we now know why 'Siegfried' isn't in business anymore.... would you trust AntiVirus software that doesn't know what day of the week it is? Hahahaha

Yes... I think 1st may 1994 more sensible  :)

Actually there are a few sets with that issue (invalid dates) that i don't know how to deal. Especially things like (monthly) magazines released (according to the front cover?) every 31st of something. It should probably be changed to a "warning" instead of an error, that and a lot other modifications.

Duncan (i think) also asked me support for (1999-10-1x) dates (TKaos asked for it before) but i haven't had the time yet :/
