1) Please get rid of these Promotional dats, there's no need for them & they look quite silly. Everything is already flagged as demos so they don't need there own dat with 5 files inside. Already a few people have made it aware that they've pointed at them & laughed, unsurprisingly IMO.
Appreciated, but did create it after some thought. Basically, having an issue with some promotional/demo carts that don’t really belong anywhere else (and I know I have more coming up to add later). Example: SMS/MKIII – “TecToy Christmas 1992 Promo Cartridge (1992)(Sega - TecToy)(BR)” – this is basically a digital static advert on cart bundled in Brazil with SMS. It’s not a game, nor really a demo or app either. Toyed with using ‘sampler’ like you use in ISO, but its not that either (not like you actual play anything or see any footage).
Suggestions? (Bear in mind this isn’t isolated to just this dump....). Promo DAT was the best solution I could think of for these awkward dumps.
2) What did you use to convert Memory Manager v1.0b (1999)(Magillicutty, R. Bubba)(PAL)(PD)[h] in N64 Applications ? I cannot recreate the checksum when converting from the only copy I can find online/other dats. Also, out of interest, why were a couple of the files removed from the last dat? AFAIR it was sent to me with a few other images. We already had the others in DAT, so added it in. Looking at it in hex editor compared to other, it looks like it could be a load of crap anyway though.....

Took it out since needed to double check something (was basically redoing N64 apps, fw, demos), and forgot to add it back in. My bad, will get it back in ASAP.

Now ‘Lem's Crap Test (199x)(Lem)(PD)’, was wrongly named/in wrong DAT.
3) SNES. Are all the hacks really un-nameable? [h271] is getting silly. I had a very quick look & loaded a few of the Super Mario World hacks at random...
Agreed. But remember I haven’t really worked on this DAT since the last (last) release, other than fixing obvious or new TNC rules/errors. I’m currently sweeping thru the nin/sega/snk dats and adding language flags and will address this at the same time.
