Is there a ROM renamer for Linux?
« on: February 26, 2020, 07:28:36 AM »
Any native one that doesn't require Wine or similar software? It would be nice if it let me choose which files I want to rename and not just simply rename all of them in one go.

The lack of a decent Linux-native ROM manager has annoyed me to no end. So, I've decided to write one myself. I'll update you when I've posted it to Github.

I am using RomVault under Linux but it is not exactly fit your needs. It is an all in one run type renamer/manager which runs under Mono (written in C#). Even it is a great application I am looking for some native console application as well.

TOSEC project had one Linux console application called TUGID but cancelled. :-(
