Finally pulled the trigger and treated myself to an Analogue Mega Sg (with SMS adapter AND GG adapter AND MyCard adapter AND Mark III/SG1000 adapter AND 2x 8BitDo M30 Wireless Controllers).

I thought my daughter was a thing of beauty, but this thing comes damn close. Bloody should though at $189.99 for console + $49.99 for adapters + $49.99 for shipping + another £50 quid for bloody Import Duty. Then you got to buy controllers separately. That works out about $80/£60!

Has put a big ole smile on my face when it arrived this morning though!

Should be a very cool thing to have, all early Sega stuff working in FPGA.
Please provide more feedback about it once you fiddle around with it for a while.
I am very interested in their Duo, as I have somehow amassed a pretty cool PCE collection and don't want to mess with the old NEC hardware needed to run all of them.

Will do... Just need to do so when wifey not around! Might have to convince her its a cheap Chinese TV-Game knock off from Amazon first... LOL

They do some really cool stuff. Only problem is cost (obviously) but also they are such small runs. I understand both points, they are very niche products, but it is frustrating. If you miss a pre-order for example (I've noticed in the past) for even a day for anything limited edition (the Nt Mini Noir springs to mind) then good luck.... you got no chance buddy, despite having wads of $$$ to throw at them.

Was going to get a Super Nt previously (don't worry I'll wash my mouth out with soap later!!!) but waited too long, deliberating over the cost, and pffft all sold out.

Yeah, the Pocket looks very cool (and flexible)... can feel my fingers getting itchy in May already.

FINALLY had a chance to play with this today. Love it love it love it.

Flashed ShadowMonsters "jailbreak" BIOS (eurgh) so can load regular ROMs off of SD (nearly all my physical carts in the loft at mo, though have tested with a few GG I have around). Works really well. Tested a few games, like Golden Axe (MD)... seems flawless. Played Sonic 1 (GG), fucker still gets me in the same pits even 30 years later. Swear I have not had a smile on my face like that since I was 12. Though weird thing, if you playing a GG game on a 60" screen you really need to "re-evaluate" your jumps you would usually do on a 3" screen. LOL, takes some getting used to.

Tested SMS too, but colours all messed up. Suspect thats a PAL/NTSC settings issue I need to check out though (when I have more time).

Man... if anyone has any (now out of stock) Analogue products (like the Super Nt) they now bored off, I'm a new convert who would happily compensate you...

Oh dear... Analogue had a new batch of stock in today (at 08:00PDT, not that I was watching the international clock rather than working or anything).

I "accidentally" bought an Nt Mini Noir, a SF Super Nt and a Black Super Nt (fighting all the way to get them through check out, everything sold out in about 13mins). My poor credit card must feel like a battered wife at this point (though I'll be the battered one if the real wife ever sees this months statement.... and I haven't even paid the import duty yet).

In other news, if anyone has a pre-order on one of their Pockets I think my card can take a little more punishment.... myself, maybe not if wifey gets wind of it.
