So, quick tip from someone who's been through this whole thing a few times.
When a project breaks large, and yes, I just got the whole Software Archive on archive.org to break large, you encounter something called "Opinion Spectrum Collapse Disorder". This is when you have people who contribute every single position ranging from "nothing should be done" to "everything should be done". And more than that, people with absolutely no dog in the fight, that is, they are literally nothing but bystanders and observers, weigh in with their own suggestions of how things should be, what is right or wrong, etc.
It is how a certain realm of geeks feel they are "helping". They are "helping" by being more chatterbox noise into the conversation of theory and speculation.
For the months ahead, I'll be working to get the TOSEC collection on archive.org into better and better shape, and we'll be going from there. I look forward to helping you get more and more images into your DAT files, as I'm working with a bunch of people to inspire them to go ahead and generate many more disk and cassette images from vintage items that otherwise have not seen the light of day in many years. I have 3,000 Apple II floppies to my right, and I got off the phone last night with a collector who has many thousands of floppies (over 150 pounds worth) who will be coordinating with me and others to get those .dsk files up and running.
It's an exciting time.
