Commodore Amiga TOSEC Sets - removed files
« on: October 28, 2018, 10:20:30 AM »
Hi  :)

I have a question regarding the following Commodore Amiga TOSEC Sets from Archive.org :
Commodore Amiga TOSEC (2012-04-10)
Commodore Amiga TOSEC (2016-11-11) AlphaBot
why are certain ADF files like e.g. "2 Live Crew - We Want Some Pussy (19xx)(Mixers).zip" are removed from the newer set ?
I don`t want to miss any files in my collection.

regards

I am sure someone from TOSEC will reply, but I assure you nothing is removed at least for no reason:

1) (most probable) ROM was incorrectly named and is actually something else.
2) ROM was for other system (so it is moved there).
3) ROM was bad (not just few bad sectors but actually something totally useless).

I don't think TOSEC removes ROMs because some company requests so, as TOSEC does not COLLECT the ROMs just catalogs (and keeps checksums) its existence.

The ADF you mentioned is in the "Commodore Amiga - Demos - Music" database.
