Well spotted, how is that? I mean, wasn't the idea of archive.org to save old versions of websites?
Didn't know they also save old binaries. I guess it is a good idea *when binaries are not copyrighted*. In that case some of them might be a problem for archive.org, no?

Jason Scott of textfiles.com uploaded it, since he has been working for archive.org.  He tried to join this conversation ~18 hours ago, but said on his twitter the registration verification sender is not working.  You probably need to fix that after the server crash.

Thanks, the email notifications for new forum messages are working so didn't suspect of that.
I've activated all the accounts registered since the crash, can you inform Jason, please? His interest in the project is welcomed :)

Any other members registered this year can also try to login because their accounts are now active.

I do not know if the pack has been filtered but there are software/games that are still protected by copyright (eg: APC & TCP soft,  firmware) and seems incompatible with the project archive.org.
Otherwise, this is a good place for conservation, for sure  ;)
