Ok, now i don't see any problem with the datfile or setnames (talking about TNC), about the content correctness i have no idea since i don't know the system or sets you describe there (+ valid values for c64 flags aren't used yet)
Good work :)

Duncan, I've just added this to the WIP set of dats for the next release ;)

Is there anywhere I can grab some of the added files from ?  I had the set from the original dat & some others but have some missing still, but I don't like releasing dats if I don't know 100% that the files are "available" (unlike some other projects).

I've attached a ClrMamePro fixdat.

Thanks in advance ;)

Haha, great!

I could upload them to my TOSEC ftp account if you like?

I've attached a ClrMamePro fixdat.
Are you aware that the fixdat is in xml format?

That's should be OK, as they'll only be there temporarily & they're not going to be that big filesize-wise.  Thanks.

That's ClrMamePro's standard dat format (and fixdat's only dat format) these days.  Do you need something else?  I should be able to easily turn it into a deprecated dat or a text list.

New fixdat uploaded.

Now we finally managed to get inside Duncan's 7z file, there's still a whole bunch of files missing.

No files missing, I only gave you an extract. Do you need all the files?

Well, I/we need all the files contained in the fixdat - fixdat's only contain details of the files missing from the creator's file set.

Sorry, you've lost me. I've 'touched' all the files in that particular DAT and the fixdat only contains 10% of the original set, how come? Main changes to the DAT were adding the first 250 files (give or take one), they're not included in the fixdat.
Could you please explain some more?

cheers,
Duncan
btw, I've upload the files contained in the fixdat to my tosec folder.
