Amstrad CPC disks discovered

Check this out. Somebody discovered and uploaded 4 disks from 1985 (all in Greek).

Don't know what could be done with them, but maybe the Amstrad CPC DATs maintainer knows...

EDIT: while searching around, i found additional links to other disks (i.e. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hZcn2TQ0GRmKUW4oY4IGR-eiDlEpcan8). I wonder, is there a specific TOSEC "policy" for these situations? Whatever is found in the 'net can be included in the DATs?

Hey, thanks for letting us know about these! I don't believe anyone is currently looking after Amstrad CPC at the moment but I've registered so I can grab the files and have also snagged the ones from the Google Drive link you posted. If nobody else takes it on, I'll make sure they're added for the next release.

In terms of policy, we'll basically take anything, yes. If you wanted to help out, you could try renaming the files according to the TOSEC Naming Convention (https://www.tosecdev.org/tosec-naming-convention) and sending us a link to the renamed files. Makes things a lot easier if I just have to check the work rather than doing it myself!

Well, from what i've understood, the first four seem to be someone's personal work. I'm not sure how they ended up to be public but since they are, it might be nice for them to be included in the TOSEC DATs.

As for the renaming process, you got me thinking... Can't promise anything for now, but let me do some research...
