« on: March 09, 2012, 11:49:56 AM »
Some of the TI-82 and TI-83 dat files contains a useless folder structure.

This is a example from Texas Instruments TI-83 - Applications (TOSEC-v2011-12-19_CM).dat

game (
   name "Ultimath v2.00 (1999)(The Dragat)"
   description "Ultimath v2.00 (1999)(The Dragat)"
   rom ( name Ti-83\ULTIMATH\instructions.doc size 15360 crc 5bd8a693 md5 efe2c4af2517ac8d6af091e835ad9046 sha1 b82fb3f36e4d23d735e8c69570ef0c70a130f3d9 )
   rom ( name Ti-83\ULTIMATH\readme.1st size 627 crc 4f6d6b01 md5 bc1379909e81f52f34601bc82de78663 sha1 6d3e5a1b8bc99a907f4f853ff61df9133e129d77 )

)

a search for "WINDOWS\" gives 77 Results, this is a example with "pictures\WINDOWS\Profiles\lucas\Desktop\dbzss50\pictures\"
in Texas Instruments TI-83 - Games (TOSEC-v2011-12-19_CM).dat

As far as I remember the files in the TI DATs are kept as released zip files, when some publisher released their software to download it contained the full package like screens, manual & other random files.
The ZIP files have been downloaded and not modified, only the filename of the ZIP was renamed, this way all the TI software is the same way it was released, including all files that were in the release.

It is kinda like the first IPF files in the Amiga DATs or the Enterprise DATs, thought there are a lot less "useless" files in those DATs. :P
