would be nice to be able to recognize and correctly rename the many .apk file which can be found on the internet for this platform/operating system.
a work of this kind is planned for the future?

Hi Salvatore,
I'm not really informed about what are Android apk files but assuming they are some kind of images for Android software, they will eventually get cataloged by TOSEC. Still this might be far far away since the system / software is probably really recent and still commercially relevant. We do not want troubles with that and is unfair to the developers too. On the other hand, public domain, freeware and similars can be easily added.

hello PandMonium,
in fact I think the apk files are compressed packages for Android, not an image files.
For this reason, I think can not be done, it would be enough to compress these files in a different way, for example by changing the order of the files inside, to create a apk different from the previous one.
thanks for clear my ideas
