What would be the preferred solution if we're having multiple bad dumps of the same file. TNC is not too clear on the following:
bdhhddh (1999)(dsdsdsd)[ b]
bdhhddh (1999)(dsdsdsd)[ b][a]

or would it be nicer to have it renamed into:
bdhhddh (1999)(dsdsdsd)[ b]
bdhhddh (1999)(dsdsdsd)[b2]

I prefer the last option. Any comments?

Amended post to change to [ b] just as quick hack so doesn't parse as 'bold' formatting.

That's because it depends on the images. Generally always option 2, unless you can tell its specifically a bad dump OF THE ALTERNATE IMAGE. But generally you'll not know that, or its subjective anyway.
