Title: Atari 8-bit cartridges being sorted out @AtariAge
Post by: Kr0tki on July 28, 2011, 09:15:28 PM
Hi! I'd like to introduce a project that I'm coordinating at the AtariAge.com forums. We're collectively trying to document all known cartridges for the Atari 8-bit computers (of all categories - Games, Applications, Demos, Operating systems). In the process we've managed to discover that quite a few of the known cartridge images are in fact cracks or bad dumps, and we've also verified some dumps as genuine.

Our effort's goal is mostly the same as TOSEC's. When updating the Atari 8-bit DATs, consider looking into our results. Link (http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/161828-hooked-on-8-bit-carts/)

Hi Kr0tki and sorry for the late reply,
Most of us have been busy or on vacations :)

You're right, many of our sets are currently "lacking information" such as crack flags and others and that is something we aim to improve over time. Thanks for the tip, hopefully it will help members renaming Atari 8 bits in the future.

This is excellent stuff!

No doubt TKaos will find most useful....
