Guys,

The 'High Voltage Complete C64 Collection' is actually incomplete in TOSEC. I found all the missing roms and have added them to the DAT. The collection consists of some subcategories, mainly:

- NewGames
- OldGames
- Demos

This would account for more than 5000 files located in one folder. I suggest to split the collection on at least the above mentioned subcategories.

Could anymore please comment on this (is there a policy, guideline etc?)

Cheers,
Duncan

Hi Duncan,

We tend to use various categories to split stuff like Demos, Games and so on but they have to make sense. Long ago i think some sets (like amiga games - adf) were splitted in 2 dats, [A-H] and [J-Z] for example, but that is not the case anymore. There is no problem in having that much files in a folder so i don't like the "New Games" vs "Old Games" but i don't know what they really mean.
The Demos and so on are ok for me but we will see what other renamers tell you.

Let's keep it the way it is at the moment. I've seen other C64 collections having more or less the same amount of files. As you might have seen, I've uploaded the DAT to the ftp site (amongst others).
